Those "guns" mounted just below the doors and the faux-futuristic hupcaps make it look like something from Car Wars.

It's a bizarre cross between an A-Wing and an X-Wing, looks wise.

A small part of me likes it, but most of my brain is screaming at me that it's utterly frivolous and useless; that it's something my girlfriend's six-year-old brother would go nuts over.

The board got slashdotted, but at least someone made a mirror before that happened.

Hmm, that thing the little Obi-Wan action figure is on looks like the base for the Halo Cortana 8-inch Action Figure. Wait, why am I pointing that out?

Anyway, that car is pretty cool, in a geeky sort of way.

IMO, the car was fine looking until I saw the pic for the R2 unit. Now THAT was waaay to far.~Jason
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Wow, that would certainly sell for many thousands more than it's worth. I wonder if Lucas has something like that.

Am I the only one that thinks that this is just plain sad? For the time and work spent on this, he could have really done something alot more...useful.

 Wow...I like everything on the car except for the R2 unit on the back. I think it's unsafe to have a big obstruction on the back of the car. It should remain clear of any crap. I'd rather replace it with a bunch of power cables and techno-looking junk...sort of like the stuff on the top part of the Y-Wing aft of the "neck."

If I wanted to pick up chicks, I'd fly an actual Y-wing. Nothing like being able to take them out on a little interstellar cruise (well, providing they're not afraid of heights, of course.)

Looks really sweet, until you get to the R2 on the back, he should have gone with power cables, hozes, and other technological junk.

I want that steering wheel, I've lost count of how many times that open top configuration would have really helped me out.

(Shrugs.) I'd like to take it out for a ride, but I don't think I'd like to own one. And of course probably no one would know who I am, since my joyride would include me wearing a Rebel pilot helmet. :P

Anyway. *ahem* I would drive this thing. I happen to think it oozes neat and bollocks (deference to Rye) to anyone who says otherwise. Vagina? I need no Vagina. I have Porn.

Yeah, there are, but driving around a car that looks like a screwed up A-Wing isn't going to be helping you alot.
