MI5 vs. Spooks DVD

Post by neoolong »

So I bought the Spooks DVD set from the UK, and then it comes out in the US, under the MI5 name.

Anybody know if there are any differences in terms of extras or anything else between the two sets?

They spell it "MI-5" over there. Idiots, there is no hyphen in the spelling of the security service.

As for differences, is the first season DVD out there yet? I forgot the release date.

Yeah, it's out.

There are no differences in the extras included in "MI5" and "Spooks." They didn't even have the talking heads say the words "MI5," so if you're watching an interview with one of the actors they'll say things like, "I first got involved with 'Spooks' when..." Honestly, though, the special features kind of suck. The writers and producers say astonishingly little interesting information, and the profiles of the various characters are just interviews with the actors talking about their roles instead of discussing their characters.

Well, I wanted to make damn sure I didn't have to shell out more money, considering I imported the first.

I've seen the first images of season 3 and to say "Wow" is too little. Looks like a building blows up straight off the bat and Tom is back. Course, like you didn't expect that, like having Jack Bauer not in 24.

They were on The Sun website, uh, but I think they came off after the day was out.
