LOL, after playing many many hours of JK 2 and 3, this would not seem the safest suit to wear.

Just look for a site that says how to build a lightsaber out of a torch.
Damn, I think Stormtroopers are on the top of my list of characters that I killed in games...Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy...

Stormtrooper Genocide.

Still, the armor looks cool. And it utilizes the same technology level that G-Lo (George Lucas ;) used back in the 70's...

Click on the TheStormtroopers.com link, then go to members. They have people who dress up as officers, Royal guards, snowtroopers, etc.

I downloaded the plans to build a set of stormtrooper armor almost five years ago. It was from a costume site IIRC; don't know where they are now, but the plans are sitting on a backup CD-ROM right now.

It's pretty much just vacuumformed plastic. The guy who did the tutorial I got remarked that he had a chance to compare his costume to the Lucasfilm Archive costumes; his were actually smoother, since LFL didn't need to worry too much about people taking super-hi-res photos of them or feeling them.

Wow, that is very cool.

Wonder how much the cost, though.
