Come on Stormbringer, I'm about as anti-racist as they come, but I don't go on witchhunts against people that are obviously not racist. Do you really believe that Hillary was trying to make a racist joke here? I didn't even figure it out till I read about it in the news and aparently neither did several other people.

If someone makes an intentional racist crack, I say grill them to the full extent of the barbacue, but if you know that it wasn't even meant that way in the first place, how can you come down on them about it? It is hard to imagine any politician making such a statement intentionally, even if they were racist (it doesn't exactly help a political carrer). If it had been a right-winger like Bush that had made this remark, I'd feel exactly the same way. People make mistakes and they can't always depend that their statements will always be taken the intended way.

How the hell was that story not intentionally racist?

It flat out followed the stereotype of the Indain people and pulled jack shit for punches. Sorry but in my mind she made an obviously racist remark and was not crucified for it. I sure do wonder why...

A question. Do you even care about who Mahatma Gandhi was or why the remark was racist? Seriously, if the remark itself didn't really bother you, what right to you have to call for an execution?
