Got my bag, and went to my first ear training class of the semester. Learned a song in Hungarian. Ran into some people I hadn't seen since I got back. Had my first diatonic harmony class of the semester. Talked with studio people outside of recording studio. Got my recital cd. Talked to studio manager about volunteering. Listened to my recital cd back at my dorm and for once in my life, didn't feel like jumping off a bridge, even though I could still point out some of the things that needed improvement. I'm getting better!

Ah, but you're strapped into the plane, you can't float around in a KC-135 without seats that isn't certified as airworthy!Wicked Pilot wrote:I fly a vomit comet almost every day. Unfortunately we can only sustain negative Gs for no more than 30sec due to the capacity of the inverted flight chamber. You think thats bad? I slept till 3.30ish today, but thats down to 2 things.InnerBrat wrote:you slept past ten on a weekday? you lazy student-like slob.2000AD wrote:Woke up, got dressed, came down to uni, surfed the net to get some last minute revision in, had a mild panic attack about the exam in a couple of hours time, posted this post
1. My screwed up sleeping pattern (I was still online talking to Aly at 4am)
and
2. It's one of my very rare and lovely days off.
A little more on topic... Woke up at 3.30ish, went downstairs, made coffee, played around with the cats, made a microwave burger for "breakfast", flicked through Kerrang and Skuzz (nothing on), came back up here, washed, brushed teeth, came online and that leads me to where I am now.

So, is your brother known to slip into a coma often?

Only when i really want to go on the PS2 (Which currently resides in his room) or the PC (Which resides in the loft (converted) which has it's only entrance in his room). This has been one of the perks about coming to uni, no annoyng brother hogging the PC !Dorsk 81 wrote: So, is your brother known to slip into a coma often?

Went to a conference with a Nobel prize winning scientist and learnt some of the more modern oncological medical techniques along with biochemical experimental research.
Went to Whetherspoon's afterwards with some friends and had a nice meal then came back and found a girl I thought was not talking to me anymore had emailed me.
Wicked Pilot: Nice, what aircraft were you flying in? I get the impression you weren't in an F-15 at that point for some reason.

And thats one of the benefits of sitting on my ass in my room, I have my own computer and PS2!2000AD wrote:Only when i really want to go on the PS2 (Which currently resides in his room) or the PC (Which resides in the loft (converted) which has it's only entrance in his room). Well the PC's (home and uni) and the PS2 are mine, just there's no space in my room and since i've been at uni my brother decided to relocate the PS2. (I didn't bring the PS2 because even i realise that having a PC and a PS2 in the same room is asking for trouble come revision time!)Dorsk 81 wrote:And thats one of the benefits of sitting on my ass in my room, I have my own computer and PS2!2000AD wrote:Only when i really want to go on the PS2 (Which currently resides in his room) or the PC (Which resides in the loft (converted) which has it's only entrance in his room). Just having the pc in here was trouble when I was meant to be doing coursework this year, as I spent all my time here! *Shakes fist at SD.net* Damn her and temptation!2000AD wrote:Well the PC's (home and uni) and the PS2 are mine, just there's no space in my room and since i've been at uni my brother decided to relocate the PS2. Well, turned what I KNEW was gonna be a crappy day into something less crappy. Then I came home.
It seems people didn't hear me tell them I was gonna be staying after school, and I'm in a bit of trouble for that. I have told them 100s of times not to fucking worry about me, and I'm sure it wasn't a huge deal to my dad, but my little brother told my mom I wasn't home, and she panicked about it. Goodie.

In the last three hours, I have lost the second house key of this week, panicked all through math (which was a bad thing, considering I have a final exam to write tomorrow and should have been studying), and finally found the orignial key, (minus key ring), in the Music Room at school. Go figure. Then I posted on Fleet 54, talked to some people on YIM/MSN, and came here. Now I need a convincing story as to why my second key is gone with keychain and my first has reappeared, minus keychain, leaving out the fact that my second key is lost.
