No, Wales' flag is green with a dragon on it. It's Ireland- up until the 1920s all of Ireland was part of Great Britain.

So can I be the Official Evil Brit Conspiracy's Pop-music Maestro?

Damn you're right, just googled it and apparently Wales is part of England and so "England and Wales, Scotland and Ireland make up the flag".
Damn... and they teach you this stuff in Primary School! :?

We touched on it in Canadian History- without Britain we would be Americans, I suppose.

On the subject of St Andrew's cross, did you realise that because it fetaured in the Confederate Battle Flag, that makes the Confederacy ordained by God?

I guess that makes the UK extra specially holy.

2 points for annoyingly accurate albeit not correct answers, and -2 for being a smart arse... :P

The correct answers are 1) blind, and 2)t-shirt, regardless of weather

Back on topic. I'll need someone who knows me to meet me at the airport. I've never been in London before, just through it to make connecting flights. As such i haven't a clue where anything in the place is. In return i promise many pints.

Same as LP with me, I've never been to London either, so if someone could meet me at Padington I would appreciate it. I'll be offering marmalade sandwiches.....er...I mean drinks to whoever meets me.

Do not mock the Padington Bear reference!

Sorry, back off-topic for a moment, it's not any t-shirt, its an NUFC strip. It's like the Geordie National uniform.

On topic: Having a guide is a good idea, especially if flying into Gatwick... that place is a confusing jumble of buildings thrown haphazardly into a field.

DH: maybe, but i don't know who the fuck you are...

LP: which airport?

Dorsk: you can probably get to Euston Square fairly easy (Hammersmith Line from Paddington), but when LP gives me flight details I'll arrange a itinerary...

Just so I know what sort of train times to look for, what time are we meeting?
Or
Pounder, what time does your flight get in? I think theres a train link from Heathrow to Padington isn't there? So if I know when your flight gets in, then I can try and be at Padington at around that time so that I can meet you and IB, who I assume is meeting you, on your way back into the city.... Did that make sense?

No, if it's Heathrow, we'll be taking the Piccadilly Line, and would have to change in the West End to get to Paddington...
