BLAHAHAH!!! The Knights Templar and Freemasons are both fairly deeply rooted in CHRISTIAN belief systems. Well, at least the Freemasons are anyways, from what I can tell about my Freemason grandfathers....the Templars, Freemasons and assorted interests dedicated to Satan worship and absolute power.

Well, the Knights Templar order was accused of heresy, sodomy, and Satanism by Phillip the Fair, resulting in mass-arrests, the forfeiture of all their (considerable) assets, and the basic destruction of the order.
