It's not bad. Fucking huge system hog, but pretty good overall. Very short though (the demo, that is)

It crashes every fucking time I play it. It won't let you edit the controls.
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

It's technically excellent, runs well (strangely, it ran like shit the first time I played it, but ran well afterwards), looks good, but the gameplay is ho-hum.

Graphics were amazing (jacked to Ultra High, no slowdowns on 1000 rez), gameplay varied betwen awesome to avrage.. with the highlights being the first tiny isnland battle (possebility for cool stuns is neat), and the final part on top of the fort (you can't beat being hit with a engin peice).

I have to say I was pretty impressed by the shiny water and the plant detail on the island. The demo was a little short, but good otherwise, and it was interesting to see the soldiers actually following the orders given to them by the squad leaders.

Filefront and gamershell should have torrents of the demo

I love it, the animations and a few other bits and pieces need some work, but overall I'd say its great.

The AI is downright scary and the game is good.

Give it about 1.5 months to its release and it should be running nicely.

Mmmmmm.

May I see the blood flowing from dead bodies in the water is especially noteworthy.

I can't believe you guys thought that AI was the shiznit, as it were. I D/L it and while I agree it's nice and smooth, the guys were frickin idiots. all I did after beaching the boat was go prone in a bush, pop off a few with the .45, "WHERE IS HE?!" they come over to where I am, and look around, *pop pop*. Dead. To Tell you the truth, the whole things smacked of a bit deeper version of "Serious Sam" the textures needed a bit of spiffilizing, as well. but I will concede that the water effects were awesome, and it was nice to stealthify the whole level until you get to the chaingun on the mountain and rain death upon the french mercenary bastards (I think they're french, listen at the docks to the two guys talking "a Gwenade-ah? Jean-pierre, your aw a fwicken eedeeot."
