You listed it before me!

But here's an idea. Let's both get one, and then we can drive around and chase those annoying H-2 drivers! Wheeee!!!! :D

I'd say the DeLorean, although the production models did have quite a few problems. Preferably, I'd get one with one of the few prototype dual-supercharged engines (kiss that low HP problem goodbye) and the front suspension fixed to improve the body airflow.

A nice car, it was just torpedoed before all the bugs could be worked out.

I'm still waiting for George Jetson's flying car that folds up into a briefcase. :)

I'd take one of those, even over a new Harley.

Just don't take it for a long drive... e.g. anything over an hour ;)

I'd either take a DeLorean or a properly modified Honda 2-door. A Toyota Celica is another one I wouldn't mind.

Jeep Willis is my favourite ride when it comes to 4x4, according to the rule "if it isn't there it won't break".

Right now I drive what can be called "partial car of my dreams"
Alfasud Sprint 1.5 QV from 1984

http://www.carsfromitaly.com/alfaromeo/ ... t_1024.jpg

Its not the actual photo, the color is metallic gray and mine has plastic grey panels on the side. I have fitted it with a wonderful 1.7 boxer engine on twin Dellorto DHLA 40's carbs, around 120bhp on a car that weighs 960kg's. It isn't a fast car by today's standarts, but it still packs some punch. Its small and unreliable tho, so Im selling it.

This is a car Im working on now, together with my dad.
http://www.carsfromitaly.com/fiat/wallp ... th_800.jpg

Again, not an actual photo, because the car is currently stripped down and undergoing restoration. Also its not an original Abarth :( - original 131 Abarths are VERY rare and VERY expensive, so we are building a replica basing on a stock 131S coupe. And yes, an original 131 Abarth with a 16valve 2 litre Abarth engine on Kugelfischer mechanical injection is a car of my dreams. Especially in the Rally version.

But before that comes:

http://www.detomaso.nu/~thomast/rosersb ... gt5-1.jpeg

De Tomaso Pantera GT5. I could kill for that baby.

http://www.m1911.org/images/stratos.jpg

Lancia Stratos - the best rally car ever made.

http://www.aref.fi/autot/i-tihe.jpg

Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV6, 2.5 litre V6 engine, around 170bhp, with de-dion suspension.

http://www.wardsjewelers.com/images/Por ... 911_S4.JPG

And of course the good old 911, four wheel drive version. But a slightly less powerful thing would also do :)

The only american car that I like is DeTomaso Pantera (it could be called "half-american", since it was designed by italians, but produced for the american market, with V8 engines).
Things like Mustang or other big cars with big engines aren't really my style. So what you have a huge engine that gives so much torque that you burn your tires without knowing it...
With my father's car (Fiat 124 Sport Coupe, 1.8 Abarth engine, around 140bhp) I once did a small street race with a 220bhp Mustang. I left him figuring what is going on. He simply couldn't keep it up on curves. Its simply raw brutal power. You need some italian finesse - and engine power doesn't really mean that much.

I've always lusted for this one:

But other than that I'd settle for a Lamborghini Countach. As long as I can somehow make the interior bigger than the exterior...

(jaw drops to the floor)

A Vector? The fastest series-produced car ever?

I'd like to see with my own eyes how that thing handles...
