Hank looked out the window. "There he is, land here, we'll bring him in and then fly to the nest, from there we can go to where we think they are."

Ragam saw the ship land and the door open with Hank waving him in. Ragam scurried up the steps and onto the ship. Ragam jumped into an empty seat

"Well Hank, where are we off to?" Ragam asked

The other person - Marcus - had escaped. And Mancer was furious.
"What the fuck? You KNEW about his powers, and kept him in, what, a steel box? You couldn't keep him unconscious or anything?"
"Calm down, Mancer..." came a familiar voice. It was Dorian.
"McGreyth."
"Yes. We have things to discuss."

It was obvious by now that the odd little fish thing needed lots and lots of ritalin... but the fact that it dient work on him made the matter mute At this point hs was very bored, and was teleporting around the aircraft... about the closest he could get to bouncing off the walls. After a few seconds of this his attention was diverted and he teleported his laptop to him, plugged in his camera, and uploaded the megalodon pics for everyone to see

Dorian looked at Mancer. If she'd get any angrieer, she might explode on the spot.
Towering over her, he smiled down at her with what amounted to his professional smile(TM), and made it seem like he was just at home in the PRID headquarters.

"Let's go to a more private spot, shall we?" He notioned to a nearby office.
The people around them looked curiously, but said nothing.
As they entered it, he again turned to her. "You know my opinion about us meddling with this PRID goons. We could have arranged for a more...sublte approach. But be it as it may..." He pausd for a moment. "It seems you have quite a problem at hand here. Though I'm just here for a personal matter, I could help you. You could really learn something when it comes down to dealing with your subordinates." He sighed. "And keep your temper in check."

Ragam watched the fish like being teleport around the craft. He ignored him and shook his head and rubbed the temples of his head

Hank opened up the comm to the Nest.

"Charley, we got everyone, we're on our way."

"Yes sir, two things though, firstly someone is asking about your Proffessor within PRID."

"Well, uh, get rid of the requests, and then get him transfered to us."

"Right sir, and they captured Marcus, and he escaped, he's currently in DC tearing up HQ there."

"CRAP!... I assume you have the plane ready and loaded for our arrival?"

Charley seemed to be looking at the screen funilly, "Welll... yes."

"And you have the men in it, don't you?"

"Right again boss."

"And I assume you have an intercept course plotted?"

"Right again."

"Well, you could of told me before hand. Up load the course, we'll meet up, and then we can teleport to Washington so we arrive right now."

Hank looked out the window, the entire plane was parked in the Parking Lot of the main building. Further more the engines had been shut off along the way. Mumbling "nice touch." Hank climbed down the hatch at the bottom of the small craft, right into the belly of the big craft with the boarding ramp at the bottom lowering. He counted roughly thirty heroes assembled in heavy power suits, pausing to think for only a minute he took his weapons from the side rack, tossed on some light armor and shouted out.

"Right people, Charley you keep the perimeter around the building secure, you five, come with me. Ragam too, Alytar you stay with Charley, make sure they don't get killed, if I need you I'll contact you over a communicator. Right move out, and don't forget where we parked!"

Bursting out, Hank the five Heroes he'd tapped to come with him and Ragam ran through the base, after getting into the executive offices before getting stopped, Hank demanded, "Where's the new boss, I need to see her about the Escaped Prisoner."

The guards were not budging so Ragam Increased his mass to tower over the guards. He grabbed them both by their necks and hoisted them up in the air.

"Go ahead Hank" Ragam said in a deep voice as the guards kicked their feet struggling for air

There was shouting outside of the office. It was getting noise, and Mancer was once against getting irritated - she kept on getting interrupted in her conversation with Dorian by the noise outside. Then the door inched open.

"Excuse me - Ma'am, Sir. There's a man outside who wants to speak with you. He's armed, but doesn't seem to be, err, overtly aggressive..."
"Have him come in - ask him to deposit his weapons first..."

Mancer turned around to face Dorian, who watched as the door closed behind the clerk.
"Who do you think it might be?" asked Mancer.
"I have no idea." came the reply.

"Alright humans, you heard the man, secure the peremeter!" He teleported around seemingly at random, making sure everyone was doing their job.

Clicking on his head set Radio he talked to Charley, "Going into meeting with the new boss, if not out in five minutes send up Alytar, how's he doing?"

The crackling reply came back slowly, "Well, he's providing some humour down here, he thinks we're the average goons, doesn't seem to get that we could probably take down Marcus by ourselves if we tried..."

Chuckling Hank turned abruptly again, he waved Ragam, who obviously needed no weapon, to come with him. Dropping his assault rifle in front of the door, but carrying his concealed energy pistol within his vest.

Walking into the room he saw a man, and an attractive woman.

"What the hell happened with Marcus, why'd he escape, where is he now, and who do you have tracking him?"

Ragam dropped the two guards and followed closely behind Hank into the office.

"Excuse me? I am the director here, I don't need you asking questions. Firstly, this is my territory - you and your goons just dropped by without any prior notice, and you barge in here asking questions? Firstly, You are not in a position of authority. Secondly, you should introduce yourself first. Oh, and I would appreciate if your friend didn't knock out my people."

Mancer did a quick mental scan of the new arrivals. There was difficulty scanning both of them, one of which who obviously was not human. It was like trying to catch a goldfish with tissue paper.

"Well, Hank - she had managed to gleam his name from his well concealed mind - the answers to your questions. Marcus apparantly escaped by removing whatever restraints were placed on him. Why did he escape? That should be blindingly obvious - apparantly, he didn't want to be here. As of right now, we have narrowed his location down to a 50 mile circle. Or at least that's where he's predicted. Nobody is tracking him - that won't be necessary. Our people are on the lookout for him, they will report in if he is sighted. He'll show up on our radar sooner or later."

"Now, perhaps you'd like to explain your actions."

"I've got power from the Directory here, and it's DAMN STUPID to order your men to only keep a 50 mile circle. I'm here with Hank's Heroes, prehaps you've heard of them? We're here to apprehend Marcus, and bring him in for questioning. Quite frankly I wouldn't trust any of your men to competently shoot a gun, much less hunt down a mad-man."

"These are my people, not your toys as your companion seems to think. Perhaps you are not familiar with the technical aspect of our operations - with advances in computing and programming, we can make extremely accurate predictions. Our current average success rate is 93%, and rising. We have a tremendous amount of psychological information on Marcus, which brings the accuracy up a lot. Furthermore, I'm from higher up than you. I don't take orders from you."

"Since you're here to apprenhend Marcus, we'll give you the location of where he is. If you need more men, you will have them, but I don't have you using them as meatshields. That is, if you want my men who you don't trust to 'competently shoot a gun'"

"Now, if you intend to capture him, I suggest you start moving."

Marcus looked over his shades and under his baseball hat to look around, he'd entered the D.C. an hour ago and there were people all around. It was getting really hard to avoid these PRID bums. Another group of soldiers were coming by so Marcus dived into another dark alley, the same one he'd been in for 15 minutes. As the PRID goons dissappeared around a corner Marcus ran out of the alley and over to a bus. He'd watched the schedules, this one was heading north to Philidelphia, then from there, west to Pittsburg, then finally to Chicago. Smiling nicely as he entered the bus a full 2 minutes before it was headed out. He paid the man who was driving, even giving him a tip, before walking to the middle of the bus and taking an aisle seat.

The bus started out, it was maybe halfway full then. Marcus crouched down in his seat, pulled his hat over his eyes, and fell into a light slumber as the bus roared down the street, heading towards the interstate. Marcus got the idea in his head that he would safely make his way to Chicago, and from there wherever he needed to be.

As Marcus traveled, his Apparation was stirring up trouble. She and a hundred other Apparations appeared on the southern side of Washington D.C. and, although killed no one, they appeared and dissappeared causing all sorts of trouble for PRID and whoever was there for the entire day. A few times the Apparations even saw fit to appear around PRID headquarters. This was moments after Marcus left the District of Columbia. It was during Mancer's conversation with Hank that the female Apparation herself appeared in the room, looked at the both of them with what they swore could be a smile, and dissappeared.

It was a matter of moments before the bus stopped. It was a PRID inspection team. ANd the moment they got on the bus they noticed who they were searching for...

Listening to Comm chatter, Alytar decided that he wanted to see a bit of action... And teleported onto the scene

"Firstly, Don't pull numbers on me. Even though Detection rates have gone up, more and more Apparitions and Xenos are slipping through your net, because you give them about as much training as a rent-a-cop. Secondly, check your Org Chart, in all matters pertaining to missions assigned to me directly by the Directory I am the superior officer where help can be given for my mission."

Stopped in mid thought, Hank put his hand to the Head-set.

"Crap they found him! COME ON!"

Running out of the room Hank grabbed his Assault Rifle at the door, and ran towards the reported sighting.
