Because of the weather I can't watch UPN, Fox & WB exvept between November and Febuary.

I have managed to miss 6 out of seven seasons of Voyager this way.

Unfortunatly I am missing Smallville, Simpsons, and the last season of X-Files. Although I hear I didn't miss much last year.

Funny, Archer seems to have very little in the way of Christianity and very much in the category of homosexuality. Seriously.

You remember correctly. What does it say about B&B that AKIRA can remember correctly, but that they cannot?
Nothing good. Nothing good at all.

Though to be fair, I think they damn well know and just don't give a shit.

WTF?

I haven't see anything resembling that article on TV.

And Quantum Leap is a Christian Science series? I suppose that it does have some biblical elements but I'd hardly call it a christian science series.

It's kind of funny though, to think of all of those fan-boys whacking off to a hermaphrodite.

I know it's not canon (is anything in Trek anymore) but Dr. Selar went through Pon Far in Peter David's "New Frontier" series. Now she really did hook up with a hermaphrodite (a Hermat to be specific).

My bad it isnt about Pon'farr.....

It's Something better...

From Startrek.com

Synopsis:

Archer spends a fretful night in sickbay with Dr. Phlox after Porthos, Archer's pet beagle, picks up a deadly virus on an alien planet. Meanwhile, crew members believe Archer's increased stress level is due to Porthos' illness, but Dr. Phlox suspects it has to do with Archer's repressed sexual tension and urges Archer to discuss it with T'Pol.

What the hell? The doctor is advising the captain to talk to a Vulcan about emotional problems. What next consulting a Klingon on pacifism.

My my... I remember somebody on this board, on some other thread, being rather indignant over the criticism of Boobyprise, suggesting that it's plots were far better than TOS, or something to that effect. I must say, after reading this, my eyes are opened.

How could I have ever wasted time over the years watching and critically defending trite, nonsensical drivel such as Kirk risking galactic war to pursue an attacking Romulan ship, or Kirk having to decide whether or not to seek revenge upon an interplanetary war criminal, or a story of jealousy and madness, or Kirk encountering a society where absolute power has corrupted absolutely, or a story of enslavement by one's inner fears, or Kirk having to decide whether or not to kill in revenge, or the Enterprise pursuing a vital but morally questionable spy mission, or any of these obviously inferior themes of human drama and moral issues and psychology when I can explore the multidimensional depths of a plot where Capt. Archer, neurotically worried over his little sick doggie, discusses his sex problems with the ship's walking freezer unit?

How foolish of me for not having things in their proper perspective...

I'd read this part in TV guide but that dosen't necessarilly make your prediction about Pon Far incorrect. If I remember correctly the epsiode of Voyager that dealt with Pon Far had the Vulcan's emotions influencing Belanna Torres because he had chosen her as the most compatable for reproduction (or some crap like that). It's possible that Archers's sexual tension isn't all his he may be getting some of it telepathically projected onto him by T'Pol. This is all speculation though.
