Bah, they're just trying to stir up shit than they are with actually making choices. But at least it's better than in other recent years.

It's an amusing read- I doubt there would be very many acceptance sppechs for this. It's good to remember the cream of the crap at the end of the year. which is why programs like "Fromage 200x" (insulting bad music videos) are so popular.

Gigli shouldn't exist, at least, not until the apocalypse.

While I usually don't agree with the pictures the Razzies nominate, this year I think they got a good crop. "The Cat in the Hat" looked EMBARRASSINGLY bad, and I've heard Gigli is one of the worst films ever made.

The Cat in the Hat was objectively bad- I went with my neighbour's kids and they called it childish (7 and 9 years old).

And the COMMERCIALS! CHRIST! I thought I was looking at Stanley Kubric Mk. II--New and More Obnoxious. Jesus, the colors in that film were nauseating. It was like watching A Clockwork Orange, but with more bright neon hues.

I have yet to see a Stallone movie that I deem bad?

Which should I be watching?

Gigli was bad. Embarassingly bad. However, it doesn't rank with some of the other shitfests I've seen. I'd defiately rate it above Reloaded.

If they really tried to stir up shit, they would nominate RotK. Nominating Gigli really isn't that controversial.

Cobra

Rambo III (you ought to like that one  ) There's an interesting scene involving a Russian tank and a helicopter that I just know you'll love.

Oscar is pretty bad but I sort of like it in a over the top kind of way.

Speaking of Over the Top, Stallone's attempt to make a rockyesque arm wrestling movie kind of blows. He's okay in it but talk about wondering why they bothered.

Stop or My Mom Will Shoot is supposed to be bad.

He also made some movie with Dolly Parton where she's supposed to turn him into a country singer. I didn't think it was a decent movie but I think Stallone was trying too hard not to be an action star with this one.

I think the Worst Actor/Actress nominations are a bit unfair, especially the supporting ones-surely Pacino's and Walken's performances in Gigli were too minor for them to really earn something like that.
Don't hate; appreciate!

RIP Eddie.

I really disliked it when it came out. Now I find it amusing in the way I find a lot of 80s action movies amusing.

It was released at the same time as Arnold's Commando which was even more over the top but that's probably what made it so entertaining. :)

You mean you've actually seen it? You're the first person I've talked to that has actually watched that movie! I'm all about bashing movies, but I think it only fair to wait until you actually see said movie.

So, nice bashing. :D
