Things at the PRID HQ were chaotic with the recent attacks and increasing number of apparations, and for some reason, they were letting him go for a few days. He sat at the bar in his house's billiard room, sipping on wine, and watching a news report on the sudden explosion in DC. Whoever pulled that off must have been a fucking genius. Pehaps he'd go down there and find out more.

And that he did. He went into the garage, got into his car, started it up, and pulled out of the garage. Once onto the street, he headed downtown.

"Hm, might as well help you, if you need that young man so urgently." HE said to Hank. He concentrated shortly and just lifted the driving car into the air, it's tires rotating uselessy in the air. He let it float back to were it once was.

"Well hello," he said. "Would you be the person with the job offer."

As Mancer stepped out of the bus, she took note of her surroundings. She stepped into the Monument, and was greeted by a fairly young man.
"Well hello," he said. "Would you be the person with the job offer?"
Mancer did a quick scan on him. So he was the one. Perfect - He was a mercenary, his motivation was money. If he could get in, he could fix the holes.
"Yes, I am. For now... You can call me Mancer. I'm alone - as requested. As I mentioned on the phone, we are currently seeking searching for somebody with the necessary computer security skills to patch our network... Perhaps we could discuss this... elsewhere?"

Ragam grew to the size of a two story building in front of everyone. Small horns grew from his head bones erupted from his arms and back. He grabbed the car that marcus was in, grasped it in his hands and crushed it like a tin can just enough to keep him immoble if he should wake up. Ragam waited with the crushed car in hand to be teleported

Wraith and Mancer strolled over to the restaurant looking at the cop cars and emergency vehicles rushing to the seen of the fight.

"Wonder what that was about."

"I have no idea," lied Mancer.
"Maybe it had something to do with Apparitions? They're getting troublesome nowdays, hmm?" probed Mancer, awaiting his reaction.

"That they are. Did you hear about the attacks on those PRID agents in NYC. Man, they sure having there troubles."

When they reached the restaurant, Wraith held the door open for Mancer and walked over to the booth.

A waitress came up and took their orders. When she left Wraith spoke.

"So what type of Network are we talking about patching here? How big is it, how many different nodes are there, that sort of thing."

"Well, our network is fairly large. It's infrastructure stretches across many continents - we have several nodes. One of which is based in the DC Area. Its designed to be remotely accessable by our personnel, yet secure enough to prevent outside intrusion. However, it seems that it has already been compromised at least once - that is why we are coming to you."
"Anything else?" Mancer asked sweetly.

Hank looked at the man with Telekinesis. Xenos were very rarely allowed to be even close to the PRID, and this person was friends with the new commander of the DC branch, things were changing.

Interupting his brooding Ragam crushed the car into a small tin-can, just big enough to contain a human. "Smart thinking big guy."

Marcus woke up and looked around as best he could, he was in an open cell, it appeared to be anyway. It actually was bars with a plastic outside which served as a window. If he looked to his right Marcus could see what looked a lot like a gas machine, probably something that would knock him out quickly. He then looked to his left and saw some technicians playing at a terminal a good many meters back, he could see them through the small window plate that allowed them to see through the meter thick shield of metal that defended them.

With his surroundings checked Marcus tried to move with little success. His feet were tied to a line that also went around his waist before going high up onto the roof of his cage, where he swung freely a good three feet off the ground. His chest was shackled with his elbows bent and his hands pressed quite smugly against his head, there was no real wiggle room, and there were gloves on his hands that seemed to be stopping his powers once again.

Marcus turned to face the technicians, or he tried to anyway, he rocked back and forth for a few seconds before catching the men's attention, they pressed some button and spoke a few words that he couldn't hear.

Hank was tired, he'd been re-assigned to take out apparitions in the "storm" in D.C., and his team had gotten rid of some 40 apparitions. And here he was talking to a fish man in his break, wow, not something he;d expected to be doing when he was 12.

"Uhm, we might. In the mean time stick around, and browse the smithsonian, they have a good marine-bio unit. By the way, you seen Ragam around?"

"Yes we did, you come along and help me And I set it up so you are never bothered. Well, here's the deal I've been thinking about offering, there's a small cave system in the area within the perimeter fence of the Nest. If you would put up with a bit of noise every now and again this would make it so no-one would ever bother you again, while you could be set up with the ammenities of modern life. The one thing that I'd ask of you, however, is that if the base is ever attacked that you would come to defend it with us."

"I'd be dlighted," he smiled. "I'll have you know what restaurant. I hope your men and you can behave them in upper-class environments. I don't like to be embarrassed by guests...So see you then." He turned around and strode to his limousine, looking like he knew everything and was the owner of this whole place.
