For some reason my post count is going down. Yesterday it was 1779 and now it's lower. If I cease posting will I whither away to non-existence? Will anyone remember me?

Does the BBS expire old posts? If it does and you posted more often in the old days than you do now it would account for the loss.

My post count is decreasing faster than I can replenish it. Yesterday it was 1478 or so, and when I logged in today it was less than 1450.

Well that explains it. But while I only lost an insignificant number of posts which are irrelevant anyway for I own a custom title, others here (XaLEv)
were hit much harder, which now enables Cpt_Frank to laugh heartly about their suffering.
