The Gipper turns 93 years old.

Post by EmperorSolo51 »

Ronald Reagan, America's most beloved president, will turn 93 years old tommorow. It's really sad that our former president will not be able to recognize that fact as he is in the late stages of alzhiemers nor will be able to recognize his own family. He should out of bed, celebrating with his wife and family not be bed ridden and forced to suffer the horrible effects of this disease.

As an ardent Reagan supporter, I do hope that his time does come soon, becuase no person should suffer the effects of such a horrible and debilitating disease such as Alzheimer's. I pray for the Reagan family and hope we, as Americans, continue to support the former president and his family.

Happy Birthday, Mr. President.

My grandfather died of Alzheimers, and I can attest as to how hard it is to watch a once strong man go like that.

Regardless of how I think he did his job, I know that he deserves a better end than this.
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

I may not have agreed with Reagan's policies, but he is/was a good man, and no man deserves to lose his mind through a debilitating disease. Happy birthday Mr. President.

I didn't agree with some of what he did. But nonetheless, Happy Birthday Mr President.

"Then tell me, "future boy", who is president in the United States in 1985?"
"Ronald Reagan."
"Ronald Reagan? The actor? Who's vice president, Jerry Lewis?"
"Oh no, oh yeah, tell me how can it be so fair
That we dying younger hiding from the police man over there
Just for breathing in the air they wanna leave me in the chair

It's said that when Reagan watched Back to the Future, he had the projectionist go back so that he could hear that snippet again, and after hearing it a second time he found it most amusing.

I think I rather die than suffer from such a terrible disease.
At least Regan has access to great medical care, most of us
won't be so lucky in our old age.

That is indeed true. It's on the DVD.

Too bad about Reagan. Thing is, my grandfather had Alzheimer's, so it's not a terribly far-out thing for me :\

The only way that would be possible is to either break the film and run the detached segment through the projector again, or replay it afterwards.
Projectors do not have rewind.
