Citizen Kane was based directly off William Randolph Hearst, who was far worse than any media mogul we have today, what with his attempts to crush anything that opposed him and him being an outspoken supporter for the Nazi party. He invented sensationalist reporting and yellow journalism, and was a heavy hand in the cause of the Spanish-American War, likely to increase newspaper sales, with his "You furnish the pictures and I'll furnish the war" bit. You think that FOXNews is bad for that stuff, but they all bow before the colossal evil media power of the real Citizen Kane.

I wouldn't be too sure, there's a lot of people that have FOX as their only source of news.
You can always get a different opinion, but a lot of people don't care. They watch "their" news show and take it as gospel.
