I think most PEOPLE (men and women) like to be treated like shit.
I think that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Some people are glutton enough they'll ocassionally suck up things they shouldn't. But aside from high school/college age dingbats most aren't looking to be abused.

Could you be more specific? I've never personally found any inclination on the part of the average person to enjoy bad treatment.
However when it comes to commitment...ladies want to commit and guys want to keep living la vida loca!
Two other possibilities:

1) The guys you know are too young for commitment.
2) You gravitate to "party boys", who are naturally adverse to commitment, while ignoring the kind of guys who might actually be interested in commitment.

In any case, I seriously doubt that your theory is a workable basis for interpersonal relationships. I've been happily married for 11 years, and I worship the ground she walks on. I still say that's the best way to make a woman happy.

I don't understand the poll.

What does 'yes' signify, and conversely, what does 'no' signify?

I guess, to answer the question I think you're asking, yes, I am willing to commit to a long-term relationship. Oh, and I don't like being shit on. Or, at least I don't think I like being shit on; I've never actually had anyone shit on me. But it stinks enough that I'll go ahead and assume I don't like it anyways.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'
