If you are voting for bush because you are republican, that's proof of utter fucking stupidity and a lack of free thinking on your part.
You are not choosing a candidate based upon anything more than thier fucking colour scheme then rather than upon thier own individual merits or policies.

IIRC, a Russian foreign minister said it before they attacked japanIlluminatus Primus wrote:What the hell is that supposed to tell us?Iceberg wrote:"What we need now is a short, victorious war to stem the tide of revolution."
So said Russian minister of the interior Plehve in 1903 before the Russian Japan war. Although David Weber did use the quote in his book, as Hemlock said.
"In the new trilogy, Anakin Skywalker portrays a damning indictment of technology's modern dehumanization of mankind through Hayden Christensen's lifeless, almost inhuman performance. There is a river of tragedy in every robotic line he utters, a horrific monotonal indication of his cyborgal fate."-Dr. Albert Oxford, PhD

Keevan, people often vote for their party rather then the candidate for the simple reason that it is difficult to discern what exactly the candidate is about since we are far gone from the days when Presidential candidates were straight with voters.Keevan_Colton wrote:If you are voting for bush because you are republican, that's proof of utter fucking stupidity and a lack of free thinking on your part.

Looks like an argument to me. Fronting economic reasons to not vote for Bush isn't a baseless rant.Iceberg wrote:The dollar in free-fall.
Wealth increasingly in the hands of the wealthy.
Least fair tax structure since the Eisenhower Administration.
Political power concentrating increasingly in the hands of small elites.
Employment in a continuous freefall with Bush claiming that leaking American jobs to foreign countries is GOOD for the country.
Meh, Bush gave me a tax cut and Kerry wants to take it back. While I'm in not way in a political lock step with Bush, I agree with more of his solutions and such than Kerry.
I do wish that Bush would stop spending like a motherfucker, but I really don't see Kerry reigning in the cash flow either so the clincher come in the area of military and forigne policy. In this respect, again, I side more with Bush than Kerry so the guy will probably get my vote.
Would perfer other choices but thems what we got.

They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Well, I'm a Democrat. I voted for Gore. However, most liberal democrats come off looking like whiny pussies to me most of the time. Republican conservatives, with their Fundie agendas, no stem-cell research, abortion issues, etc. etc. come off, again to me, as absurd fucktards.
But I support Bush 100% with what he did in Iraq, and Afghanistan. I think WMDs either are still in Iraq, or were moved to Syria. And what's more, I think an example had to be set. Go ahead, attack the U.S. Just don't whine and bitch when the U.S. goes apeshit and brings down an enemy country. Or two. And for the record, I could give a flying fuck that we don't have a videotape of Saddam Hussein having tea and ctrumpets with Osama bin Laden. Its been clearly established that Hussein supports terrorism. Allegations about Bush have been flying with far fewer proofs, again IMHO.
So will I vote Bush? I almost said, "fuck no", since he's a king Fundie asshole. But Kerry or Edwards had better impress the hell out of me before November.

Bush is a bullshit artist and a liar. We've all seen the way he was tripping on his feet because he was in such a rush to invade a sovereign country which posed no imminent threat! George Bush is a war criminal, and so are the flock of Hawks he keeps on his staff. They should all be tried at the Hague. Go Kerry.

Kerry, unless something drastic happens. Raptor is probably right - if Bush is re-elected he won't have to worry about his job being on the line, so expect his administration to go apeshit and become a worse monster than it is now.
Your thoughts on that would be wrong, but I doubt the lack of evidence to support your conclusion would change your mind. But I support Bush 100% with what he did in Iraq, and Afghanistan. I think WMDs either are still in Iraq, or were moved to Syria.
Iraq didn't attack the US. Did you lose your marbles at CPAC or something? And what's more, I think an example had to be set. Go ahead, attack the U.S. Just don't whine and bitch when the U.S. goes apeshit and brings down an enemy country. Or two.

"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

I just looove the way the US system works....people vote based upon parties rather than candidates for a position that is meant to have everything to do with the candidates fitness to hold it....AND....no one votes for a third party because it's pointless because no one votes for a third party.

Our third parties are pretty fucked up. The libertarian party wants to roll back civil-rights related regulation back to the "golden days", where any sorry racist fuck could deny a black dude a job because of freedom of association.Keevan_Colton wrote:I just looove the way the US system works....people vote based upon parties rather than candidates for a position that is meant to have everything to do with the candidates fitness to hold it....AND....no one votes for a third party because it's pointless because no one votes for a third party.
And then you have the greens. All their anti-nuclear propaganda and other commie bullshit.

It would restore the freedom of association while maintining that government jobs are equal opportunity; either way I'd hardly call that the main goal of the Libertarian party, its more of a consequence of its limited goverment/pro-liberty position.Hamel wrote:

You also have to keep in mind that freedom of association could goes in multiple ways; people would be much freer to deny services to racists/bigots (regardless of their color) simply because they don't like them.
Devolution is quite as natural as evolution, and may be just as pleasing, or even a good deal more pleasing, to God. If the average man is made in God's image, then a man such as Beethoven or Aristotle is plainly superior to God, and so God may be jealous of him, and eager to see his superiority perish with his bodily frame.

you have made an allegation. you now have 2 options:
option 1: post the specific articles of the Geneva convention that you feel have been violated, and credible sources proving those violations
option 2: shut the fuck up

Third parties are not really viable in the American political system, which more or less exists to get someone in the Presidency. Two parties gives a much greater chance to attain the required 50% of the electoral vote.
It is unfortunate that the about 70% of the US votes based on party lines (35% DNC, 35% GOP). That leaves it to the swing voters -- the remaining 30% -- to decide the election.
