Found this at Scifi Meshes just now. Really puts the size of SW ships and stations in comparison to Trek vessels in perspective.

Link.

What, no Death Star :) ? You're right though, it is interesting...but it's a shame they didn't use the Executor's actual length.

That is the worst model of the Executor I have ever seen.

Both the Executor and Home One lengths are wrong, and that Executor looks terrible.

In another gallery, he states that he got the sizes from starwars.com, blah! Still, it's a fun picture with the way they all sit together like toys.

It's certainly not the worst Executor I've ever seen. :P Like the Romulan warbird though... :)

Ok, some questions:

What exactly is that lamp lookiing thing that's behind the SSD and beside the cube?

What's that thing behind the Connie and frigate? The 370m one.

Finally, what's that 76m ship that's besides the Defiant and infront of the Blockade Runner?

Did you notice the list of displayed shipd in the bottom left corner of the pitcure?

(a) Federation Spacedock
(b) Droid Landing Ship (from TPM)
(c) Republic Cruiser (also from TPM, the ship that took the Jedi to Naboo)

C is actually the Queen's yacht from Ep. I. the republic crusier is the 115m one. (I don't know if that's the right length for it because he also mislabled the blockade runner as 120m instead of 150m)

Notice how small alot of those ships are? Besides, I can only recognize a small number of SW ships.

Show me. If there's a model out there which is supposed to be serious and complete, and is less accurate than that, I'd like to know about it.

I like this site. Unfortunately he has the incorrect SSD length, but I'm told he used to have it right but got shouted down by the WEG monkeys at TF.net. At least he links to Dr. Saxton's page for the proof of the correct length. Of course, Dalton gets it right.

very nice comparisons. be nice if the measurements were accurate, but otherwise not bad. although it's difficult to tell what the three tiny ships beneath Voyager are. :?

Ok, just reread Hartman's post. I accidently misread it before and thought the spacedock was the droid landing craft, instead of the lamp looking thing.

Btw, why do people think the SSD's ugly?

Ah, not sure on serious as in directly accurate high poly model, however... :)

Wow, the D'deridex is pretty big. Looks like it's bigger than a Mon Cal and pretty close to an ISD, heightwise anyway.

The one that says 120m is a Corellian Corvette (Tantive IV).
