I don't really have much to say other than that it appears some of the Heaven's Gate cultists survived. Just watch the video for Light & Day, it has to be seen to be believed.
What's wrong with the Polyphonic Spree? I rather like them. At least their not following the cookie-cutter, poppy-snap, teeny-bopper bullshit "I-love-you-let's-fuck-or-i'll-pop-a-cap-in-yo'-punk-ass-i-can-rap-better-than-anyone-else-beeotch" Form. They have a sound that's really all their own. (If a bit oversaturated...they do give the "Wall of sound" a new context.)

And wasn't it Burzum and Mayhem whose members were all tried and convicted of church burnings and other murders? I forget. And supposedly, Mayhem's first album cover is a copy of the real picture of the body of one of their band members that comitted suicide.

As for Emperor, Equilibrium I thought was shit. Nightside and especially Anthems are IMO still their best albums.
Yeah, mayhem and burzum were the ones who burnt a few churches, lead singer from burzum killed the lead singer of mayhem too, iirc.

I find their music to be dull as hell though.

Scary? That's weird since the first thing that crossed my mind was "look at those gay hippies!". It was more funny than anything else.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either. :P

Lead singer of Burzum? :wtf:

Burzum's a one-man band.

Whose? Mayhem or Burzum?

One-man bands are not rare in that genre. Of other one-man underground metal bands I can name Falkenbach, Nargaroth, Bathory, that guy who looked like a fat version of King Diamond and countless others.

(Actually, I'm starting to wonder why one-mand bands are common in metal than any other genre... with the possible exception of electronica)
Burzum.
It's more than a year ago I last heard Burzum IIRC, so I unfortunately have no opinion.

That's because they were the only two members who actually had any sort of musical talent. :)
Their cool accents should count for something. :D
