IIRC, a Wobbegong is about as long as 2 sting rays put tip to tip.

Nope, it said 2ft. I missed it the first time around.
Any ways, this reminds me of Survivor last week. (Yeah, I watch survivor, it's one of my dark secrets.) Robert Hatch was trying to spear fish, and he found a small shark about one to two feet long. Long story short, it ended up biting him on the arm, and wouldn't let go. He tried hitting it, gouging its eye's, and even biting it. Finally he walked up to shore and beat it's head against a rock. His tribe had shark for dinner.
