That's a worthless test you idiot. Shooting 1-2" groups at a bit over 16 yards proves nothing, anyone with some training and a decent gun & ammo can do it. Besides, you can't scale 200 yards down to 15 yards, there's this thing on a gun called the sight, which on a handgun doesn't work too well at 200 yards. Also, there's these wonderful things known as wind and gravity which are a much larger factor at 200 yards than at a piddling 16 yards & change.

Stewart, I am again going to make my 1 appeal to you to wise up. No one gives a flying fuck about your shooting, especially given that I cannot find any reputable sharpshooters on the internet that have made shots that you claim to be able to. Plus the fact that your Institute seems to be either non-existant, or as existant as my poker racket at college undermine you credibility. Combine this with the fact that in the end, none of this bullshit you mention is important for Star Wars vs. Star Trek. In the end, whether you are a 150 pound wuss like me, an asian engineer like Mr. Wong, a psychotic gunnut like 3/4 of the board, or a borderline elitist otaku like spanky makes no difference. I bet I could beat 75% of the people here in Street Fighter 2 champion edition for Sega Genesis, but this doesn't make me less of an idiot. So, the important point is, drop the hype, and either simply concentrate on the debate, ro scram, as you seem to be on the track to VI and banning.

As a side note to other members, I feel kinda bad being the one that gives these talks. They don't seem to work, although I wish they did. So far, previous recipiants have been both RevPrez, and Raoul Duke Jr. and despite my utter civility in both cases, I was met with hostility. It seems that many people on the internet would rather be hostile, and act like assholes than to listen to any point against them, no matter how neatral and how civil. It also seems that very few people will accept apologies, even when given truthfully, maybe because of a mistrust of this hostility, but I digress. In the end, I guess I am really asking, is it worth it for me to even try to get through with civility, or is it really necessary to always reply with vitriol and flame.

In WW-II the Thompson SMG, M-1928 had a range compensating rear sight regraduated to 600 yards. I know, I've used it. Kind of blows your range of the round argument out of the water now doesn't it? I know that you will raise the different MV argument, but does <200F/S really make that much difference that one could shoot 600, and the other only 50 yards? Get real.
