AARP chipping away at drug laws?

commercial:
TV showing scenes of street violence, and rising costs, death of police officers, and need for more prisons.

cut to two elderly people, eating TV dinners, watching the news.

now how about a war on drugs we actually can win.
Why spend billions of Dollars enforcing drug laws which don't work when we have people who can not afford the drugs they need to live.

well I have been saying for years that as soon as the Baby Boomers get into the AARP Pot criminalization is on it's way out. I think I saw the first signs.

I wouldn't celebrate if I were you.

You're going to be needing to smoke a lot of that legal pot to not go balistic at all of the crap the Baby Boomers are going to get the government (and you via taxes) to pay for.

What worries me about the upcomming retirement of the boomers is what will the markets do if many of them start taking money out our transfering from stocks to bonds. What will real estate do as many boomers buy down or stay put.

Prices will plummet if a lot of them decide to go to retirement communities, or prices will skyrocket if they decide to keep their houses, and then plummet when they all die.

I'll have to convince my parents to go to a retirement community.
