Well, we'll see if the pore bastards are still alive now (excepting Kuja).

Furries are creepy, which is probably just a function of my warped little mind's rejection of creative interests. I suggest a Beaver furry or an Otter.....

Is that a subtle hint about your avatar or are you making a point to ditch the her/him pronouns for one single pronoun?

A hir is basically a him/her...thus the hir. I believe it's because said being some sort of hermaphrodite.

So yeah more then a hint of the avatar.:P

I've read most of Peter David's New Frontier books so that's what I was thinking but I wanted to be sure it wasn't a typo or intended in another fashion.

"Hir" has been proposed as a replacement for the words her and him but since I had not seen the Duchess use 'hir" before I assumed it was either a typo or very intentional (and meant to screw with our heads). :)

Essentially it's turned into another one of the Duchess' posts where I'm left wondering..... :? :)

Let's try to organize what facts we have and try to figure this out, shall we?

1. The Duchess's avatar is not a random drawing of some nameless vulpanthrope, but rather a specific character she likes for reasons we will not speculate on.

2. By the "non-visual details are on the board" comment, she has already mentioned said character here, on SD.Net, in the past.

Ergo, all that remains is to search through all her posts (via the "find all posts by" link in her profile) until we find a mention of a fox furry, and thus solve the mystery of the Duchess's avatar.

Note: This is Spanky in CR

You guys should probably trust Gil that you really don't want to know...

Besides, I don't believe that she's actually posted such image on the board.

Not if you're using C++, I don't think.

Not to mention that you can't see a fair number of them since they're in the SoS..and you guys can't get in there so hah! BTW, the SoS also had a picture, that's right, an actual photo of Marina at one point. :D

You may want the prefix operator rather than the postfix one.
