Well, Dax "died," but I can't say I cared. I kind of liked Tasha Yar, but Worf was much cooler. Sisko died, no loss there. Gul Dukat died, again, no loss for the whole. It must have been Kirk. Despite his outrageously insulting, crappy, worthless death-sequence, I did care about that crazy bastard. His was the last one that I even remotely cared about.
Sisko went of and "joined" the prophets, so he could be brought back.

The only character I ever cared about was Scotty, and since he is still alive, I can safely say no.

To bad that only the future Janeway died in Voyagers last episode, it would have been funny if the real Janeway died.

I think that Trip and Reed should have been the ones to die. I mean they decide to break into station and they think nothing bad will come of it. I mean a store doesn't actively tell you not to steal, but you know not to do it.

Technobabble breeds more of its kind. Such a death would makei t far to easy to bring the person back. THats why I want anyone who dies to have a stake drive through there heart after being hit fifteen times with rifled shotgun slugs at close range.

Funny thing is, I won 5 bucks by successfully predicting the ending of the plot the minute I saw the ensign wander into the cargo bay and stare quizzically at the smoking panel.

I tell you what, if the entire Enterprise suddenly exploded taking Archer, T'Pol et al with it I wouldn't give a damn.
I'm just so disinterested in all of them.

Yes, Yesterday's Enterprise was probably my favorite TNG episode EVER. I even think it was better than BoBW, although the one where Picard gets "killed" and Q goes out to chat with him is up there with it.
Speaking of major character deaths (since Enterprise has no major characters) I think I'm going to miss Data the most.

This has been established. Data was almost certainly the best TNG character.

Doesn't Data copy himself into B-9 though?

So Data will die but still be alive, sounds like the Trek Reset Button :?

Unless there is new information that I haven't heard?

I doubt it. Spiner is worried about playing an "ageless" android when he himself is clearly succumbing to the years. Rumor also has it that he's just flat-out sick of Trek. No, the "download" to Data's retarded sibling is probably just a consolation prize for Data fans.

Given his recent statements about Enterprise, I would agree with those rumors.

What are those statements, anyway? I've looked on www.startrek.com but couldn't locate them.

Spock. His is the only death I can think of in star trek that I actually cared about. I might have cared about Kirk's if it hadn't been so anti-climactic (compared to his life).
