Well, it didn't look like he was fighting one-on-one, but then again, the camera was focused on him alone.
Afterwards, Hektor goes back to Troy and tells his pansy ass to get out there again, or Hektor will unload on him himself, so Paris does once again go out into the field, and actually scores a few hits.
Still, does anyone really expect Orlando Bloom's character, Paris or not, to be utterly humiliated? I don't.
He had better!
Η ζωή, η ζωή εδω τελειώνει!
"Science is one cold-hearted bitch with a 14" strap-on" - Masuka 'Dexter'
"Angela is not the woman you think she is Gabriel, she's done terrible things"
"So have I, and I'm going to do them all to you." - Sylar to Arthur 'Heroes'
I will be happy if this three things become reality:
- movie is as good as we all hope
- it is a hit in the box office
- because of it they decide to film the persian wars

Supposed to be one in development.
Well there is two Alexander the Great in the works (Baz's and Stone's) but Thermopylae is a long way to go, Clooney hasn't even seen a first draft yet from the industry reports.

I have doubts that Gates of Fire is going to get made or at least first, despite what people say, especially since its been more than 3 years since the script has been done.
