Among other things he wants a 25-dollar minimal wage, aka lets force the nation to become hardcore socialist in a vain attempt to avoid economic ruin.
Say, where'd you get that about the $25 an hour? I foolishly used that figure without having a source to back it up and need to know fast. >_<
according to this site he wants to raise the minimum wage to 10 not 25 dollars:

source
Nader demands a livable minimum wage of $10 an hour, pointing out that 47 million US workers currently get less than this (the official Federal minimum wage is $5.15). He calls for the enforcement of civil rights and repeal of oppressive labor laws, including the notorious 1947 Taft-Hartley Act.
this one as well
beware that these sources are socialistalternative.org and socialismtoday.org

all that will do is reduce the purcahing power of everyone making above $10, rapidly cause inflation and then put us right back where we started in terms of 'real income' (income adjusted for inflation).

NTM increasing outsourcing rates and putting even more Americans out of work.

amen brother! The living wage debate is getting ludicris. People don't understand that if all of a sudden the dishwasher and cook at mc donalds have to be paid 10-15 dollars/hour their hamburger will suddenly cost $9.95.

I've always been amused by the likes of Nader or Moore that insist that the economic woes of the working class can be solved simply by jacking up wages. They totally ignore inflation and layoffs in favor a magic solution and a class warfare tactics. Morons.

if anything we need more jobs, not higher wages. in the city i'm living in it's damned near impossible to get hired anywhere because you'll sometimes have as many as 100+ people applying for the same job. in many cases alot of them will have similar qualifications as yourself, or better qualifications. which makes it very very difficult to stand out of the crowd and get hired.

25 dollers an hour would be exactly 25 dollars an hour more than the german minimum wage. we don´t have minimum wages.
Thanks for telling me that; I shouldn't read so much Lester Thurow.

My prediction: few people will be willing to vote Nader this time around, but Bush will still win by at least 5%. Mind you, I'm still planning on voting Democrat, but I think victory is unlikely.
