Napoleon's state of mind.

Post by Tosho »

I was looking through Apendix B Medical Notes of Alan Schom's biography of Napoleon ( appropriately titled "Napoleon Bonaparte") when I found this passage:

"From a psycriatic veiwpoint, all my medical freinds confirm that Bonaparte- like so many dictatorial rulers- would according to the U.K. mental health act of 1983 be described as a psycopath, a term that includes in its definition:

a. Failure to make loving relationships
b. a propensity toward highly impulsive, irrational actions
c. Lack of sense of guilt or sensitivity for ones own actions
d. Failure to learn from adverse experiances

The combination of all four traits is reflected by the various kkiddnappings, murders, lies, and wars he perpatrated to the very end."
