Oh, and about the art: from what little we can see, it looks crap. Though if you want to talk about good modern art which was blasted, think back to "Piss Christ" - something which came out in Australia x years ago (it was awhile and I've forgotten the exact year) - it depicted a statue of Jesus on the cross, in a container of a yellowish liquid. Suffice to say it stirred up some shit (hahaha, yes, that was a lame pun - fear me).

It's strange what gets accepted and what doesn't. Something as stupid and poor as this "Mickey Bin Laden" or whatever get's an exhibition, while other works of art get ignored. And I can certainly empathise with you Rye, about your frustrations - I feel the same way about writing. There's just so much shit out there and it does feel a little hopeless at times. Ok, most of the time.
