Once again, you miss the point entirely. It's not that we want a different degree.. It's we want some actual proof you understand this stuff. It's not that we want internationally recignized Astrophys'ers in on this.. Such a topic is a waste of their time.. It's we want you to stop lying constantly. You have been found out. Lose with some fucking dignity.

You could use some pointers on spelling at the very least.

And really what degree do you hold, BA in bullshitting or a perhaps a double Master's in ignorance and illiteracy?

He claims to have a degree in "General Science", remember? Most universities don't even offer such a degree AFAIK; you have to pick from biology, physics, chemistry, etc.

And now, let us all wait with bated breath for him to consult with the "experts" who told him that interplanetary space is around the same density as Earth's upper atmosphere

That last place I heard of that offered a degree in 'general science' was a community college.

Yep same here.

And nope...Dark Star had at the very least a better grasp on spelling.

And I'm still wondering with his general science degree how is he able...nah, my mind can be devoted to better thing like porn and what not.

Ok Mike, do you plan to put him on your hate mail page? He will be after Darkstar the second who lasted the whole five rounds, and that alone is worth it.
But he is also too funny to not let him end on the page. A debate post mortem would be nice, because that is rather lenghty, and would halp overview.
Also the forplay shold be mentioned.....

If they're internationally known physicists, why don't you tell us who they are? Or is this an unreasonable request?

And for crying out loud, copy your posts in to MS Word or something and spell check them before posting. I've been following your debate with Mike since it started and more often than not I'll skip reading your posts and just read what Mike responded because I can understand what you are trying to say from his response to you better than your own original posts.

Yes Stewart ,by all means constult your other "experts" and then come back. Perhaps those other "experts" can tell you the difference between a nuclear detonation in an athmosphere and in space.
I am an expert in many things, but I do not have a degree that anyone here takes seriously. Everyone here ignores my points as if they are some how less valid because of my lack of degrees related to Physics. Therefore I have contacted a couple of internationaly known Astro-Physisists for their oppinions. Their responces will be posted in full.

The detonation that I was refering to was possably the "Starfish" shot at an altitude of either 400 kilometers or 400 miles. IIRC the latter. In either case it was far beyond what is concidered to be the conventional atmosphere at a local dencity of 1^-11-12 kilograms/meter^3. Since this dencity is almost exactly centered within the normaly accepted range of interplanetary space values, from 1^-9 to -15 OoM, I think it is a valid comparison. However, Mikes failure to address this range of values and subsiquent dirersion have made outside consultation neccessary.

Other parts of this thred are responces to other posters attacks based on remarks that I have made. I am not a computer wiz nor am I familiar with the "on line" etiquette involved in debates like this. In my naivete, I origionaly thought that this was going to be a fair and ballenced debate. Shame on me for not checking with the Computer Nerds and learning all the rules first, before joining this debate. But thats OK as I am a big boy and have learned to take it. I wonder if the rest of you are too.

Again, I am prepaired to answer any reasonable question put to me, in order to gain some sembelance of pairity in this forum.

Sincerely, Stewart.
Bitch PLEASE! You have shown to be an expert in absolutely jack and shit, and jack just left the bar. Let me phrase it differently, the only area where you may be an expert could be either in masturbation or over exaggeration of your credentials (which are pretty much non-existant as it has been shown allready).

Considered by whom Stewart? By you? As we all know, what you "consider" to be something means absolutely dick to anyone on this board. Ofcourse, if you had even bothered to run a single word search in Nasa's main site, you would have a firmer understanding of how the true experts consider Earths athmosphere but ofcourse, that matters not to you. It seems that the difference between Athmosphere and Deep Space is still a bit lost to you but dont worry, im sure you will find it.

Are you now claiming that you dont know the basic outline of a debate? That is quite curious considering that the basic idea of debating and its methods is established in High School. But we all knew you hadnt reached that far yet so not a big supprise.

1. Any degree at all requires completiong of basic english courses. Why is your spelling/grammar so horrific?

2. Where, exactly, did you matriculate?

3. Does the SDI REALLY exist? I must admit the evidence against you is overwhelming, and you've refuted nothing with any sort of definitive proof.

3. As head of this institute, one would think one could spell the name correctly. You can't even do that. How long would Michael Eisner have lasted if he thought the company he was heading up was Desney, and one of their hallmarks was the Majik Cingdem?

4. Ninja master....what form of martial arts, exactly...have you trophies? Credentials? Name of your Sensei, or whatever their called in your "Ninja School" Or do you do like I do and mimic Johnny Cage?

5. in the opinion of the Stritegic Defense Instatute, what sort of weapon loadout would you recommend for a humvee mounted team of 3 soldiers in order to deal effectively with insurgent ambushes? Or will that answer cost me 300 "Dollers" an hour?

  • Does your whole "thinking outside the box" strategy mean that grammer and spelling things have to do be done by other "experts" or do you like your incorrect sig?
  • Why can't we find any sort of information about this SDI? Obscurity is hardly a great way to make money.
  • Why do internet searches reveal your given address of your "company" to be a residential house?
  • If you are indeed just rolling in cash as you say you are, why do you lack something as simple as a scanner, especially since you run your own "company?"
  • Why do you feel the need to brag about things like your IQ, salary, karate skills and shooting ability? This makes you look at best, like an asshole trying to look good and at worst, a lying bastard making up any bullshit he thinks will impress people.

he brags about those things, yet claims that he knows next to nothing about computers when he thinks it will extricate him from his bullshit . . .how exactly -does- one get to become the head of a supposed defense company with next to no knowledge of computers whatsoever? aren't computers a major part of home defense nowadays?

Wrong; we rejected your insinuation that your self-proclaimed "expert" status somehow lent your tragically idiotic arguments some sort of authority. That your degrees turned out to be (a) probably fictional and (b) in an unrelated field anyway, was just icing on the cake.

Please name these internationally-known astrophysicists; I would love to read some of their publications. Unless of course, by internationally known astrophysicist you mean "a fellow Trekkie who got busted trying to score pot in Canada".

Tip #1a: Avoid obvious lies about your credentials.
In my naivete, I origionaly thought that this was going to be a fair and ballenced debate.
Why should one expect a debate in which one participant advocates a grossly inferior argument to be fair or balanced?
Shame on me for not checking with the Computer Nerds and learning all the rules first, before joining this debate. But thats OK as I am a big boy and have learned to take it. I wonder if the rest of you are too.
WTF??? The rules of debate have nothing to do with computers, except insofar as both employ logic, and you adept with neither.
Again, I am prepaired to answer any reasonable question put to me, in order to gain some sembelance of pairity in this forum.
How about these?

1) Do you actually have a postsecondary degree? If so, prove it.
1a) What are the requirements for being appointed "Dean of Technology" at SDI?

2) Are you actually a world-class sharpshooter, as you have claimed? If so, prove it.

3) Have you actually earned any medals of note from the US military, or even served in the US military at all? If so, please name the medals, the dates awarded, and the unit(s) you were serving in at the time.

4) If and when you fail to answer questions 1 through 3, will you own up to your bullshit and apologize to the board, or will you continue your pathetic little charade?

It's easy to claim to be an expert, but we require you to demonstrate expertise, and so far you have failed to do so.
Stewart wrote:Everyone here ignores my points as if they are some how less valid because of my lack of degrees related to Physics.
You're points have not been ignored, they've been refuted.

I can't wait. I hope they're at least as well known as Dr. Curtis Saxton, who performed some of the original turbolaser firepower estimates.

And other people have posted evidence that the shot you are citing detonated at less than 100 km. You have made no response to their refutes.

It has been as fair and balanced as it can be when one participant is holding a blatantly inferior position, making claims of knowledge and education that he can't back up, and using arguments that don't demonstrate any real knowledge of the subject matter.

Starfish Prime involved the detonation of a 1.7-megaton warhead at 400 kilometers. Course the fact that you can't even correctly name a well-known nuclear test nor do you know the yield or altitude of it hardly supports you bullshit claim to be some defence expert. You're too dumb to even manage a web search on it, which you'll find will turn up plenty of information.

I'm really glad that I suggested to Mike to debate Steward on a five-rounds debate. Otherwise, we would heve missed a lot of fun.

Let's wait I he will enter the last round after consulting his..."experts".

Just to round things off, This is what the test looked like. Notice the massive atmosphere interaction, the test created an artificial aurora lasting seven minutes that could be seen sixteen hundred miles away.

There is a film at this site (bottom of the page Starfish A) of the test in question. Pretty cool footage. Perhaps a knowledgable person could explain the visuals of a nuclear detonation in the upper atmosphere?
