This is from a pamphlet that the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) put out for visitors.

While underway there is usually some part of the ship's galley open for people to get something to eat. At the very least there are 4 meals available per day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and midrats.The Third Man wrote:On average each crewperson:

The haircut about every three weeks is correct. While some people get their hair cut really really short while on deployment in most cases it isn't the shortness of a sailor's hair that's the problem. Everything has to be neat and trimed in the proper military manner and regardless of shortness that means very regular haircuts.
If we were in port I would get my hair cut every two weeks. While deployed most people would get their hair cut a little less often.
