Installing new hard drive
I'm about to install a new hard drive as my primary drive and switching my current one to secondary. Both drives are standard Maxtor hard drives, the only difference is capacity. OS is XP. Essentially, I just want to do a flat copy of everything on the, now, secondary drive to the new primary. Is there anything that I need to know before I do this?

You need something like Ghost to clone the drives.StimNeuro wrote:I'm about to install a new hard drive as my primary drive and switching my current one to secondary. Would it be possible to use dd and resize the partition? Can you use dd for the whole drive or will the partition table be invalid?
