Harlan Ellison believes that Stephen Hawking is infringing on his copyrights. As a result, Hawking must die. The SF author goes forth to assassinate the physicist. What happens next?

Harlan Ellison. There isn't anyone that can escape him when he's gone into egonmaniac mode, not even James "king of the world' Cameron.

Though I doubt he'd be so crass as to hire an assasin. I'd be something much more spectacular and offer him a chance to rant, rave and generally raise hell.
