I'm NOT "Lovin' It"! (Stupid Commercials)

There are some annoying car commercials out there, espeically for SUVs. There already too many single people in the suburbs driving them, and it's not very encouraging to see a commercial with a suburban couple with one child driving an SUV every other break.

Of course, they might need such a vehicle for the obstacles posed by suburban driving, such as the occasional pothole, or the three-degree angle of the driveway.(/sarcasm)

There are WAY too many car commercials anyway. I also hate it to High Hell when they play the same god-fucking-damned commercial TWICE. I've even seen one played three times in a row recently...

I barely ever watch TV anymore except History Channel and Cowboy Bebop...

Ever since I got a Panasonic version of TiVo (which is superior since I don't have to pay for a service) I barely ever watch commercials. This could sort of be destructive in the future, since it will be more widespread. Everyone will simply watch their recorded (or delayed and live) program and skip the commericials like I do. Knowing this, businesses will have less of an incentive to air their commercials, which in turn will...well...I really don't know what sort of an effect it will have. Possibly, the TiVo-type firms might get sued by other firms in the future if it becomes too much of a problem. I just hope they don't figure out another effective way to annoy us. And I hope that such lawsuits would get thrown out in court.
