Yes, they certainly do. :P
And btw, just ignore the material components listing. Just subract expensive ones from your gold.
It does however depend on the bonus type, for instance IIRC deflection bonuses do stack.

10+3(dex)+5(robes)+4(haste)+7(shield)+5(deflection)

AC=33 stacking rules are followed

Now, there is another spell on my defensive spell list. Blazing shield, which brings my AC up to 40 and it stacks with my other defenses.

Whoa, I Just realized somthing.

Leadership score:
15 base
+4 CHA
+1 if i rule with "fairness and generosity" (which I do)
+1 for having a special power (weretiger or death-mage, take your pick)

That's a totak of 21!

Bo-ya! I"ve got MAD follower skillz.

Whoever thought up gestalt characters was on crack. Besides, if you take a look in the writeup it says not to use them with standard characters because they'll unbalance the campaign and send encounter levels to hell in a handbasket.
Though shall not bash Gesalt characters! I agree however, don't use them with normal characters.

however, parties of 6 Gesalts are always fun

I've already got the opening chapter ready, I'm just waiting for everyone to finish their character sheets and their histories so that I can get them in the right places in the storyline. (Prepare for a nice big battle at the beginning. :) )

Yes, but your follower's equipement cost MUST be in line with their level.
(Example, no 5th level warriors running around with +5 vorpal chaotic greataxes, or else the game will be horribly unbalanced.)
And lazerus, how would you feel about owning a few slaves? (Of course, you'd trea them fairly... )
I need at least one slaveowner for my opening to work properly.

SO, if I wear armor, and have mage armor, it does only gets me the +4AC from the Mage Armor?
The highest bonus applies;this goes for all stacking types.
Such as, if you had 2 enhancement bonuses to Cha, only the highest one is applied.

Basic History:

Light In The Darkness...

Malkamar's arrival on the Prime Material Plane was not by a woman's womb(That had occoured some twelve years prior in the City Of Shade, lurking between the planes), but by an interdimensional rift created when Shadow Magic and Spellfire impacted on one another in his home city. Burnt and shocked into the idea that, mayhaps, Shade wasn't living up to the Empire's glory days, the young man was forced to cope with a world he didn't know. His delving into Spellfire rivals any mage's research into traditional magic, and still he chisels for more control. Reviled by the Shadovar's corruption at Shar's hands, he has sworn allegiance to Mystra(Her opinion on the matter is unknown) and begun an attempt to regain magical secrets of Netheril.

His fluent knowledge of Ancient Netherese has borne fruit more than once, and has gained him minor standing amongst wizards who have run into documents in the ancient tongue. At present, he is tracing leads of more old artefacts and corrupt weave-workers.
