I refuse to play that. I've seen people play it, and it looks far, far too addicting.

And you would be correct...

Special weapons should fall a bit more frequently, but otherwise I wasn't too bored.

I got the railgun and promptly died. It doesn't do squat and its firing rate is too slow.

Odd. For me, the railgun makes a big green beam and almost instantly toasts a helicopter. I only recall getting it twice though.

For me the railgun makes a big green beam and goes right through the helicopter, wreaking no appreciable destruction. And the railgun's the first thing dropped. I've gotten it every time I've played.

I think what weapons are dropped depend on how you kill the helicopter, but I'm not sure. Lately I've been using the hyperjump followed by a mid-air-jump to kill them, which seems to work better. (Espically if you get the H-Bomb Launcher.)

I think in order to be successful with the railgun, you have to aim almost exactly at the middle of the soldier for it to be effective.

I almost got what I assume was a nuclear device of some kind. It had the radiation symbol on it. But I died before I could pick it up. :(

That's probably it. You really don't want to waste them.

You should see the 'Predator Mode'. For a limited time, you get invisibilty, the screen goes to opposite colors, and you get unlimited railgun shots.

Two hits with it take out a chopper.

Predator mode is my favorite pickup, grapple launcher being my second favorite. It takes forever to reload, but is very effective and hilarious.
