My computer is conspiring against me!

That's right folks. First, Baldurs Gate 2 gets teh fuXorE(1. Then, Dugeon Siege won't work.

Whenever I start it up, it says 'SmartSECURE has located a resource error.' What the hell is going on?

It would only be conspiring against you if it's making plans in conjunction with another computer. It looks more like it just doesn't like you very much. Have you tried buying it chocolate?

I basically cuddle my computer like a baby.
Regular de-fragmenting, virus scanning, ad-bot scans...yet it still hates me! And it's probably conspiring with my laptop, which has a wireless connection to this one. My Excel spreadsheets will probably 'magically' disappear tommorow.

My computer has some kind of personality too. When I'm playing instead of doing what I have to do, the game starts crashing, I get Blue Screens of Death and stuff like that. My serial mouse (which I have had since '98) started going down lately. I bought a new one with PS2 connector. When I returned with the new mouse the old one was working perfect. But my PS2 connector didn't worked (damn old motherboard) and neither the PS2 to Serial convertor I took from a friend.

And the list can go on.
