Coolness. I remember a good 8 years or more ago there were reports and pictures of a two-headed snake and a 3-headed tortioise too. The tortoise had 2 heads poking out of it's shell and the third one inside the shell. IIRC it had 6 legs too.

Well, BBC is generally reputable... but I have to agree on this, it does look very photoshopped. Still, two-headed animals are not unknown (i've seen several pictures of two-headed snakes, and even a real one preserved in wax), so I would say that it's a distinct possiblity... although the third head (the big one furthest back) looks like it's just eye and nostrils? Still, I would have to say, don't be too hasty to disregard it... there IS the possiblity that it's real!

Amphibians are very geneticallly fluid. I dont' dispute that the growth of three seperate heads and brains is possible.

Strange. I've seen and touched a two-headed frog once, but one with three heads? Woah.

woops... my bad... still, all i could see was three, maybe four-- i guess the rest were under it?
Idea-- maybe this is some kind of Siamese twin? If it has six legs, that's two too many... i figure as an embryo, the three didn't quite separate right? they would've been genetically identical otherwise, basically just frog triplets... am i correct?

The article's title wrote:'Warning' over three-headed frog
Eh? What environmental problems? What warning? *rereads the article* What the fuck? Did the writer just throw that in there to sound cool? He didn't even quote anyone about it!The article wrote:The creature - which has six legs - has stunned BBC wildlife experts who warned it could be an early warning of environmental problems.
Oh and freaky picture too. It really does look like three frogs are huddling together.
He probably didn't explain it cause the problem's an old one and everyone's known about it for years.Stofsk wrote:Eh? What environmental problems? What warning? *rereads the article* What the fuck? Did the writer just throw that in there to sound cool? He didn't even quote anyone about it!

Were it a siamese triplet frog, it would more likely have twelve legs.Elheru Aran wrote:Idea-- maybe this is some kind of Siamese twin?
