GIJoe PSAs: WTF?

Post by DPDarkPrimus »

I know, I know, too many acronyms...

http://www.fenslerfilm.com/?sec=video

Check out the PSAs they made. My personal favorite is #5... but they all deserve a big "WTF?"

You didn't know about these? They aired at the end of each episode of the cartoon.

They're all included on the Rhino DVD of the GI Joe movie. :)

EDIT: Nevermind. Wrote that before the first finished DLing, so I didn't know that they fucked with them...

Back then, practically all cartoons included PSAs... (I certainly recall the old Sonic The Hedgehog cartoons ending with them)

I remember that one. Instead of saving the kid, Torpedo teachs the kid how to tread, while he's drowning. :D

Inspector Gadget had the worst PSAs ever, because he always did what you weren't suppose to do. THAT'S IMATATIBLE!

Hey man...don't shit on the Inspector...but I hate the new series...his car is sooooo LAME! What happened to the nice car? With the hydraulics? And the rocket launchers? And the dog...it's almost blasphemous...

The first video just loaded...that's hilarious....he farted at the end, and winked...oh god....

Original or nothing, Gadget was butchered by everyone in the '90s, they don't even have the cool music the original series had.

And I so loved these PSAs from '80s cartoons, I recall another site that mocked these G.I. Joe ones.

But this site is fucking hilarious!

Where the fuck have you been? There's been at least three related series over the past decade and a new one has just started, IIRC. :x

They all suck though.

Oh and I want more of these PSAs, they're so random I pissed myself laughing. :D

TMNT also had them? Odd, I don't recall that...

(though I'm certain that "The Transformers" were PSA-free)

I don't remember TMNT having PSAs, at least ones that weren't part of the show. It's been a while, though.

Transformers definately didn't have them.

MASK had them too, I recall how cheesy they were. No British series had any from what I recall, they'd probably be taking the piss if they had any anyway.

Don't forget Captain Planet which was one big documentary on ecology.

The TMNT ones weren't regular parts of the show, but rather ones that would be run inbetween cartoons on the network, just like regular PSAs.
