CGI Lizardman? PLEASE!? I've been such a good boy...

And Soulcalibur is actually possible to not fuck up. A lot of games can make excellent movies, just put someone competent in charge.

Because Platformers yeild "Super Mario Bros.", and RPGs are too long/not enough people like them to give it the full LoTR's treatment.
