Election 2004: Congressional, state, and local offices

Post by EmperorSolo51 »

Who are you going to vote for on election day regarding Congressional elections, state offices, and local offices?

I plan on voting for Governor Benson in the September Primary and for Governor Benson in the General election. I also plan on voting for Judd Gregg for re-election to the US senate.

There's no need for a separate segment for the DFL party.

Well, Senator Arlan Spectre is up for re-election, so I'll probably vote for him, because Toomey is a git.

Not even a "mixed" option? Here's a clue, not everyone votes on party lines.

It's true. I'm a Democrat, and Arlen Specter is a Republican, but I'm still voting for him, because he's simply the better candidate.

Probably a mixture of Repubs and Dems, if I even vote.

Libertarian for President, probably straight Republican ticket local unless there happens to be a drug warrior among them, and I think I'm actually voting Democrat for Congress (if the Republicans even manage to scrounge up a patsy to run against Rob Andrews, which is doubtful).

You're a realpolitik man Red, how can you cast a vote for the 1780s foreign policy of the LP?

Dimes to donuts because he dislikes Kerry and Bush more.

I support enough of their domestic policy to overlook their foreign policy. Besides, it's not as if I like Bush or Kerry's policies much better.

Since I'm a registered Democrat, I can't vote against Toomey in the primary, although I'd like to. However, Joe Hoeffel is my current Rep. and I'll be very happy to vote for him.

Republican, although some positions I'll probably be skipping due to dislike and there being single candidates.

Could I vote, I would vote Kerry for President, because I agree with a number of the things that he says (reform the tax code, dammit!) and while there I a lot of things I don't agree with Kerry about, there's virtually nothing I agree with Bush about.

Believe it or not, I plan on running in the NH state primary for the Republican nominee for Rockingham county's representation in the State House of Reps. It will only cost me $2 to get on the ballot. If I don't make it I can always get 150 signatures as well as $2 to get on the ballot for the november General election.
