Here's the clincher, is the B&B licensed or is there a handy pub near by?

Ayr...is a tourist town, so we've 5 nightclubs and more pubs than I'm capable of counting. The B&B is my house...so it isnt licensed, but I do have a load of booze. ;)

Damn a meeting back home and the chances are I might not be able to make it... Can we get a rough idea of a date and I'll see whether I'll be able to attend.

Well Manchester is a joke.
:D As i come from Leeds i can say without a doubt one of the finest moments in movie history was seeing Manchester get burned down in 28 Days Later, it actually got cheered at the cinema!
I know you posted this sometime ago but it still made me laugh. What amuses me is that Leeds entire city centre is built on a round-a-bout.
More like the round about was built after the city centre, not to mention that it's more than just a round-a-bout. Still it is annoying if you get into the Chain of Red Light Doom !!!

And if the test next week is as easy as the one today then i will be so pissed off that i pulled out of this EBC meet up!
As much as I love Manchester. Leeds is nice. I even applied to goto University there this September, but Manchester, the darlings offered mea better option.

I have indeed been caught in traffic in that strange layout which is Central Leeds, good job the suprisingly interesting night life made up for it.

Wow. That'd be a 9 hour train journey. Looks like I'll be bringing lots of reading material.

Only 9 hours? You should try getting to Cardiff from Lancaster, it ain't supposed to take 14 hours, but it did... thanks to brake failure at Wem...a town whose only redeeming feature is that it sounds like a lightsaber... it took me less time to get to Oregon from Newcastle...

I just look up the times on nationalrail.co.uk then go down to my nearest Last Minute Travel to get tickets, that's what I did for last weekends meet.

Devon to Scottland. That's from one end of the country to the other, the only way I could be further away is if I were to live in Cornwall!

So when is this Scotland meet?
Since the second London meet is ruled out to me (unless some minor miracle happens in my mothers recovery) it seems like this is the next chance i might have.

Sometime in July I think Keevan said, it's up to him, seeing as it's him who's offered to put us up.

I'll leave the Welsh bashing to Rye...
Anyway, when I went to London it was on First (or whatever) and then the train was 10 minutes late or so.
