I didn't see any files with that extension.

edit: nevermind, found them.

Well, couldnt find one that pointed to the display options. There was an access file that brought me to the sticky key, etc options. One of them, acctres, couldn't be ran. There were only 3 of them I think.

edit: found desk.cpl
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

You don't even need to free the entire hard drive. Just 3-4 Gb. 8-10 at most(if you want to install everything and play around without mounting windows partitions). Defragment the drive and use Partition Magic to create a new partion for Linux. Voila.

Resizing is always hazardous(though I've done it tons of time on difficult to replace data not backed up). Also, partition magic isn't free(although there is a resizer for NTFS on sourceforge, and for other filesystems).
