Tenet kept in the dark about secret spy unit

Post by BoredShirtless »

Link

Summary: blame for the "intelligence failure" has now been shifted to the "secret spy unit". Not even on his worst day would the worst Hollywood hack come up with such smelly bullshit.

I see the Idiot is reading his private beliefs instead of the evidence, again.

People were criticizing Bush and Rumsfeld months ago because of this entity; they set up an office with the express purpose of finding any and all evidence which could be construed to support the invasion of Iraq.

In fact, the CIA never classified Iraq as an imminent threat or a significant threat to national security.

I just love the way you waste time stating the obvious. The smell of bullshit comes from the fact that the CIA came up with one conclusion, while the super duper secret spy unit came up with something totally different. "Street fighter" with Van Damm had a more sensible and believable story then this bullshit.

No moron, what you're not grasping is this isn't a new story.

Rumsfeld & Co. created this group to prove they needed to go to Iraq, which makes that outcome obvious, and we always knew the CIA never classified Iraq as an imminent threat or recommended aggressive action be taken, so that outcome is also obvious.

My issue is with you having some sort of one-track, one-gear brain which finds some drug-addled way to portray everything as stupid or ridiculous, even when it really is old news, expected, or plausable.

You're a wind-up doll with only a single song wired into your carcass, hence why one gets tired of your not-so-clever editorializations rather rapidly.

Yes it is. It was public what that secret agency was doing. What we didn't know until now is that the agency wasn't sharing information with the head of the CIA. That's big news for me, considering both entities are in the same line of work, working on the same team.

What outcome? That the secret agency would tiptoe behind Tenets back? Yeah, that's fucking obvious to me too.

What outcome? The CIA's conclusion isn't the issue here. It's the combination of that, with the secret agency, and how they all worked together. All of THAT is new news.

This isn't old news.
No one expected Tenet to be kept out of the loop.
This is faaar far away from plausable.
