Khazar shakes his head. "The Night Masks dont have a central guildhall; they are spread out all over Westgate. Finding them will be very tricky."

Gaheris donned his old rogue's equipment before heading to the meeting. "I can go into the festhall unnoticed, for a time at least. No one has ever had the chance to see my face to identify me with the griffon rider that's been plaguing them, and its doubtful that our enemies will recognize me as the boy they drove out of town years ago. I'll see if I can roust out some of my old contacts on the streets and discover what the spellbook's message was indicating."
