You can find the Fluff Bible floating around, but eh, it's not exactly the most legal of documents.Vympel wrote:Fucking A it does. Can I read Warhammer history without having to pay exorbitant amounts for those pewter figures?

It's all copyrighted material. OTOH, they seem strangely reluctant to re-release it, which is kinda irritating, and not like them.salm wrote:why is it illegal?JediNeophyte wrote:You can find the Fluff Bible floating around, but eh, it's not exactly the most legal of documents.Vympel wrote:Fucking A it does. My wife went to Vorbarr Sultana and all I got was this bloody shopping bag.
Another reason why WH is thought to be on a different planet is that, IIRC, some of the artifacts are actually WH40k equipment and that there is a scenario for pitting the servants of the old ones (Lizardmen) against the Necrons.

Actually, I don't think GW ever released it in the first place. As far as I've known(Which is admittedly not too much) the Fluff Bible has always been a fan work.Shortie wrote:It's all copyrighted material. Not the orginal, at least not legally. But there are a lot of general history fan-sites out there.Vympel wrote:Fucking A it does. Can I read Warhammer history without having to pay exorbitant amounts for those pewter figures?

The Game looks kick-ass. I hope the 4th race is the Necrons. Not likely I know, but I can always hope.
Wish I had a newer computer too, cause I doubt my Celeron 300Mhz could handle this game.

Oh yeah, and Dawn of War better have the music from Chaos Gate. Ok game, awesome music.
Looks like I've come upon the Fluff Bible in .PDF form. How good.

The necrons would be hard to do well. Gauss flayers would be rather graphics intensive, and probably get it a '15' or '18' rating.
