So, any comments on the quality of my models?

Blured, they looked good. How long did it take you to make one of them?

.44 Desert Eagle (my first) about 3 hours
Walther PPK about 3 hours
Walther P99 about 3 1/2 hours
Seecamp .380 ACP about 2 hours

Except for the Eagle, they all have removeable magazines, and all have a satisfying trigger pull.

Try wood-- I've made a Luger and a Walker Colt. You wouldn't believe just how big the Walker is... 14 inches! Unfortunately I don't have photos on hand... will try to supply ASAP...

Takes too long. I need to crank out as many guns as possible in a short amount of time for this project.

Hah! That's nothing, try a BWS Nuke50.

17", and 21 lbs

Note: The bit about firing a nuclear warhead is a joke.

A .50 BMG PISTOL???? that's a joke, right? :wtf:

Seriously, unless the muzzle compensator's bloody effective, I don't figure it'd be much good... way too much recoil. you'd have to be Samson to fire that thing with any hope of accuracy.

Nope. The Nuke50 was inspired by the M-82B1P, another .50 BMG handgun, which is basically an M-82B1K* with the stock cut off.

The Nuke50 was built because of it's awesomeness, and used in several movies, most notably Armed & Dangerous.

* a greatly shortened Barett M-82B

EDIT: How long do you think it will be before someone shortens an NTW-20 down into a handgun?

I didn't see "X-men" enough to remember quotes. And I tought it was funny, hence my previous post.

A bit of advice: In the future, please try to use the Emoticons appropriately. is not an emoticon that you should use carelessly.

You know, I saw the name of this thread and it immediately brought to mind that 'Monster Garage' clip where they blow the shit out of a car with a minigun.

I don't recall finding it funny but it was a good line.

For some reason I was trying to connect the orginal post comment with the reimagined version of Planet of the Apes and whatever Charleton Heston's character said about guns.

I had an interesting argument with a friend about the M-82B1K earlier today. It ended like this:

Him: Sure, having a really short .50 PDW would be cool and occasionally useful, but why would you want one?
Me: Well... what if your house is infested with Terminators?

I'd rather a .458SOCOM cartridge if I want sheer killing power. :D

Except that a Terminator wouldn't be really affected by that, and a .50 BMG can knock one down. For a few seconds.

And if you want extreme killing power, get a 30-30/45-70 handgun.

Like the Magnum BFR. They claim it stands for Biggest, Finest Revolver, but I think that Big Fucking Revolver is much more accurate.
