Mr Toad, being smarter than the average toad, is quickly hopping as far away as possible, which simply means that Torma is attempting to tipsily chase him down.

Erhart muttered and strode to the saddlebags on Thunder to remove a pouch full of oats to and move to attach it to over the barding just above thunder's mouth so he could eat while they waited. He stroked the mount's neck while he thought. He sighed and moved along to withdraw a whetstone from the pack and draw the blade at his hip to sharpen carefully.

Fearghal, looked around his labratory, picking up a small book and slipping it into a pouch on his belt as Elina his pixie familiar flitted around.
"Do you want to bring the alchemy apparatus too?" She giggled, circling round.
He smiled faintly.
"Ah, hm....no, I think Gredan would miss the use of it far more than I would....where is the lad..."
As he said that, the door opened and a young man in a long robe strode in.
"Lad? I'm begining to match your level of power now Master." He paused a moment. "Though, I know as well as you my skills are nowhere near as refined."
"Indeed, though you've much skill with the chemicals here, and you'll make a fine artificier with the way you've crafted these wands. Ah, hm...anyway, I must be away swiftly Erhart is likely waiting for me already. Hm...well, if I have forgotten anything I shall send for it. Keep the place in one piece if you can....Verty can handle the mundane tasks....just make sure goblins dont invade or the like, they make a frightful mess...."
Gredan shook his head and smiled.
"Of course master. May the Lady smile on your steps..."
"Ah, yes....Elina, come here!"
Elina flitted over.
"Away at last?"
"Yes, yes...farewell my lad."

With a word he vanished. [Greater Teleport]

Suddenly infront of Erhart the companion he had been awaiting appeared.
"Ah, hm....Hello Edhart, fine weather here is it not?"

He didn't look surprised at the sudden arrival of Fearghul, just looked up from sharpening the longsword held with an almost loving care and pointed out.

"Your late."

He broke out into a smile and packed the whetstone away on his belt and sheathed the blade securely into the scabbard hanging by his hip. He extended the unarmoured hand. He looked ready to leave, Thunder was well kept and almost impetuous with sitting around and his weapons were sharpened to a fine edge

"How have you been?"

(For those in the Purple Lady festhall). You all hear the clomp of armored feet on wood, and you can see a group of black-mailed soldiers clearing the crowd, dragging a skinny man between them, shackled and chained. He cries softly, but the crowd around him spits and hurls beer mugs at him, taunting him. He yelps as one of the guards slams a fist into his face, sending teeth and blood flying, and the crowd laughs more. "Here now, a slave who dared to escape from Lord Auck! He shall recieve his punishment for all to see!" A noble man, dressed in rich red fabrics, steps forward, brandishing a wipe tipped with razor-sharp metal. "Now, learn you lesson, fool!" he cries out, and begins brutally lashing the slave, sending bits of flesh everywhere.

I glare at the guards, everyone but the whipped slave has to make a fort save or turn to stone.

++I have the selective targiting feat, so it only effects guards, not friendlys or neturals.++

Malkamar grabbed the tipsy young dragonette as he spotted what was going on. "Trouble, young one. Get ready to cause some damage." Of course, Malkamar was ready to unleash havoc. Unlike the others, he had disdained armor and weapons visibly, but he could feel the ebb and flow of Spellfire in him. The Crown Of Flame and the Sword Of Dweamour could see him through this one. Both itched at his fingertips.

3 guards turn to stone, the rest are unaffected, and 'Lord Auck' is unaffected. Shouting suddenly, he orders his men forward towards you.
They brandish axes and short swords, and charge, but the crowd slows them down.

Gaheris moved quickly, drawing his sword as he charged the man in red. He was concentrating on Ixildor, not looking at him. Gaheris burst from the crowd and aimed for a spot in his opponent's side that he knew would hurt the man as he drew Tyr's holy power through his blade...

(+3 holy longsword, +41 to hit, assuming a hit sneak attack and smite evil for 38 damage.) (That's 1d8+14+6d6, +24 attack bonus if you want to do it yourself instead.)

He sighed

"Personally, I was hoping for a nice quiet jaunt this time...but no matter."
He turned to look to Westgate for a moment, staring at the city thoughtfully. It would be hell on a mount and not as open as he had been used to.

"Do you need a mount at all?"
He said, turning to lift the bag from Thunder and replace it back into the saddlebags, gathering himself for the rest of the trip

People turning to stone? Whippings? Well, Malkamar knew what he did best at times like this: Act as a serious distraction for any and all while the superior swordsman handled things. Willing the vast stores of Spellfire in his body into form, he wreathed himself in burning flames, flowing from every pour as he lifted into the air. A sword of the impossible shaped energies manifested in his hand, as he waved it above. "Dare you resist Mystra's will?!" He clammered.

(Activate: Crown Of Fire. Activate: Flight. Wield: Spellfire Sword. Ready: Absorb spells)

I engage boots of haste.

For my first move action, I glare again, all remaining guard and the evil dude have to make a saving throw. Same DC.

Fro my second move action, I draw my longsword.

For the attack action, I use the sword to distroy a statue.

Nitram: The crowd screams and runs from you, trying desperately to get away, but some drunkards intelligently decide to throw booze at you, igniting the air in flame. The flames catch the ceiling, and it slowly begins to burn.

Dahak: Your fireball detonates, killing a dozen bystanders and igniting a copius amount of alchohol, which blows up quite nicely and sprays flame onto the floor and walls.

First, someone was whipping a man right in front of everyone, and everyone was cheering him on, then the men started turning to stone, and Malkamar started glowing and scaring people, and then Galeris chopped a man to bits. What was Torma to do?
Why, exactly what would cause the most panic:

Yes, she's a small dragon. Yes, she's only about 8ft from nose to tail. But if she's suddenly rising up and flapping her wings, roaring as loud as she possibly can, what's a bunch of drunken bar patrons and hangers-on to do?

Astinius evaluated the situation and acted fast. He moved his hands and chanted an incantation quickly. Four small water elementals appeared outside the hottest areas of the fire and began to douse flames.

(Summon monster V to summon 1d4+1 Small water elementals; I rolled a three.)
