OOC:Everyone went into the guildhall to gather information. Guards dragged a slave in to execute. Dahak's character fireballed slave, guards, bystanders, and flammable building in the course of combat. Building fall down go boom. Dahak got eaten by a vamp. Vamp(possibly Dahak) got slice and diiced then chucked into the abyss. Party going back to abbey. You received some hits from falling wreckage. Edit: but are now presumably fine.

OOC: Actually, there were no guards left. He fireballed the slave, me, the crowd, and the bar.

"Do you really want to get into a battle of semantics with me? Internal plumbing for an individual home is one thing. But if you start trying to make it for the entire city, it is draining on the weave. Though, all you would need to do it is a mage hand spell cast on every foot of piping, which is activated by turning a faucet..."

Erhart had rested for two hours after seeing Thunder to the stables and had him properly untacked and the barding removed for the night before his body felt refreshed. He opened his eyes from the bunk he had been given and watched out the window of the room within the fortress, as small as it was, it still gave a view of the outside world

He sighed as he watched the sky and thought of home. Faerun was a wonderful and curious place. His heart had always been within Cormyr however at his family's estate. It had been almost a year to this date since he had last returned home...such was the will of the Loyal Fury. Duty and honour above all. He had never married and doubted such ever would.

Quietly he rose from the bed and moved to an old wooden chair to lift a woolen shirt and draw on the fine woven garment, taking hold of the black leather scabbard resting just beneith where the shirt was. It was time to practice and then for morning prayers to Torm. Hopefully the lord of this stronghold had recieved his message sent earlier to claim an audience. Fearghal and Erhart needed to be appraised of the situation before they could proceed.

"It begins."

He uttered softly, tracing the design on the scabbard with a finger before he turned to make his way down to the training halls.

++I dont sleep, so no lack of sleep penalities++

Ix had spent the night wandering the abby, lost in thought. He remembered the collapsing building, the people trapped inside, the fire, the thought both horrified and disturbied him. He was horrified that all that death and suffering was around him, that he had helped the now-vampire get inside. He was disturbed because, on a lower level, he had actually enjoyed it. And much as he limited using his powers on only those who deserved it, he couldn't help but enjoy the distruction.

That portal may have been a bit much.........

Ix watched the sun rise, and then returned to join his comrades.

Fearghal slept with one eye open, somewhat unsure of some of those he had met, but secure enough in a temple to Tyr. The night was still in the air when he rose refreshed, the starlight twinkilng far above, a mere two hours he had lain with his head upon the pillow before rising. He looked out over the city, wondering what dangers and evils precisely lurked beneath the surface, and what part those he had met might play in ridding it of evil. He returned after a time to the room he had been offered, taking out his books to study them while Elina wandered off to explore the Abbey....

He commited his spells to memory, casting, as was his ritual when upon the road, a powerful divination to aid him in the day ahead.

[Moment of Presience]

Once he had prepared, he rose from where he was seated and went off in search of his friend Erhart, they had much to discuss, Elina would keep herself amused for now most likely....

He fastened his cloak about his shoulders with an intricate pin that for once he did not take the trouble to conceal...

Gaheris was surprised at the lack of reaction from the city, but he took comfort in the security of the walls, and left orders that he was to be awakened at any sign or suspicion of trouble, no matter how inconsequential or slight. He then went to the cathedral alone to pray before turning in. He appealed to Tyr and to Ilmater, the healer of the Triad, to see the victims of that senseless act of destruction received justice on Toril and rest in the Outer Planes. He then went to his room and fell into slumber.

Carefully, Erhart tested himself and practiced to hone the blade in his hand. For years he had sought to hone his skill with blade and lance alike until he had becomes skilled enough to match if not tower over many a competant foe. Despite the armour he bore, He never forgot the lessons of simply avoiding taking the hit rather than waiting for the weapon to strike.

He rose after a moment from his combat stance and looked over as Fearghal entered the hall, lowering the blade to hold pointing down to the ground.

"It seems we have come to the right place..."

"...for what?"

Asked Ix as he strode in from the other direction, although it was still recognizibly the same person, he appeared this time as as male drow.

"Or am I interrupiting somthing?"

"Hm, quite so friend, quite so...have you had a chance to speak to the Abbot yet?"
He looked over at the windows, still yet to see the light of the dawn.

Fearghal looked over at the drow that bore an uncanny resemblance to one of those they had met earlier, leaning on his staff and shaking his head.
"Hm...not a face I'd recommend wearing in the city...or even where the priests can see..."

"Feh, if Drizzit can make this look work then so can I. But fine......"

With a slight blur effect, Ix's skin color changer, and his ears loose their point. A mundane human stands in his place.

"This better?"

As Gaheris was about to fall asleep, a sudden realization hit him. He jerked bolt upright in bed.

"Where's Caoimhin?" he said into the darkness. He grabbed for his pants, cloak, and boots, pulled them on, and bolted out of his chamber, looking for any of his companions, seizing his sword on the way out the door.
