Down from the sky plummets the dragon, fast as the striking peregrine. Just when it seems sure she'd not be able to pull up, she swoops along the courtyard wall and then hovers in the center of the courtyard, delicately balanced on one claw, posing for all she was worth before finally dropping to all fours.

TADA!!!!!

"Ah, such would be a wonderful boon in my studies, though, I would be more than happy to lend my aid without such a reward for those that stand against evil. It is always good to meet others that stand against the dark...the Night Masks...I may be able to discern something, my skills lie in the arts of divination."

He muttered to himself about thieves and vagabonds, lifting a small whetstone from his belt to carefully begin sharpening the blade in his hand with care

Gaheris suddenly burst into the room. "What happened to Caoimhin? He went into the festhall with us, but I didn't see him since well before the fireball went off. We split up to search for information, and he disappeared!"

"Whether he was, or wasn't is rather moot. the Scrying will tell us that. You were also there too, you tell me."

Astinius came out of his quarters having spend sevaral hours preparing spells and trancing

"The last thing I remember was that half dragon casting fireball... and the roof collapsing. Upon whom must I call upon the weave to destroy?"

Then it struck him.. his robes were lighter

"Where is my familiar, I sent him to explore the festhall before that moron decided to cast that spell.. Has anyone seen a rather large talking toad?"
